Kupwad MIDC is full of units that use plastic parts every day: pump and motor makers, agri-equipment and auto-component suppliers, panel builders and machine shops. Most of them buy those parts from moulders in Pune, Kolhapur or Gujarat, and wait for every sample, correction and repeat order to travel back and forth.
AURO3D’s factory is on Kupwad MIDC Road, Sangli. We run a 250-tonne Haitian MA 2500 injection moulding press, 12 FDM 3D printers and 2 resin printers in the same building. That means you can bring a sample over, check a 3D-printed version of the part, and have it moulded without changing supplier.
Moulding job work we take
We mould thermoplastic parts that fit our 250-tonne press:
- Covers, caps and housings for pumps, motors, control panels and electrical products.
- Enclosures for electronics, from a printed prototype to a moulded batch. See electronic enclosures for boxes we have built.
- Clips, brackets, spacers, handles and bushes that replace machined or imported parts.
- Repeat parts for automation and special-purpose machines. See automation and SPM parts.
If your part is larger than our press can take, or needs a material we do not run, we will tell you at the quote stage rather than after you have paid for a mould.
Two ways to start
| Your situation | What we do | First step |
|---|---|---|
| You already have a mould | Check it against our press and material, then run your parts | Send mould dimensions, part drawing and material |
| You have a part or drawing, no mould | Free DFM check, 3D-printed sample, then the mould and production | Send the CAD file, drawing or a sample with the quantity |
| You only need tens of parts | 3D print them instead; no mould needed | Send the file; see low-volume production |
Why a 3D print before the mould
A mould is the most expensive and slowest thing to change. So before any steel is cut, we print the part on our own printers and you test it on your assembly. Fit problems, missing ribs and wrong clip sizes are found on a low-cost print instead of a mould correction. Once you approve the sample, the same engineer takes it through mould design and production, and you approve the first-off moulded parts before the batch runs.
Why use a moulder in Kupwad MIDC
- Bring the part, not a description of it. Fit, finish and colour are easier to agree with the part in hand.
- Prototype to production under one roof. Printing, mould trials and production happen in the same factory, so there is no hand-off between vendors.
- Free pickup. Collect finished parts from the factory instead of waiting for a courier.
- Talk to the engineer. The person you explain the job to is the person who checks the design and runs the part.
How ordering works
- Send the job. CAD file (STEP preferred), drawing, sample part or your existing mould details, with quantity and material.
- Get a quote. You receive a written quote, with GST shown separately at 18%. Moulds are quoted individually after a free DFM check.
- Approve the sample. For new parts, you test a 3D-printed sample, then approve the first-off moulded parts.
- Collect or receive. Pick up free from our factory, or ask for delivery.
The full process is on how ordering works.
Next step
Send your drawing, CAD file, sample photo or mould details on WhatsApp at +91 93568 71008, with the quantity and material. Call before you visit so the right person is free to meet you. The factory is on Kupwad MIDC Road near the Ultratech RMC plant, Sangli.
